The notion that a bunch of strangers can rally behind a movement or person simply because they feel like it might be foreign to some people but not to members of the Diabetes Online Community. This week Karen, of MostlySelfTaughtKnitter.com and BitterSweet fame is my guest for an hour of banter about a range of topics. The elephant in the room this week within the Diabetes Online Community is Karen's creation: a week's worth of blog topics for anyone willing to participate, "Diabetes Blog Week". Support for her idea was immediate and overwhelming. I invited her on to talk about Diabetes Blog Week, knitting podcasts, how to properly pronounce "meme", and much more. Enjoy.
